This is from a Cardinals article. It didn't copy & paste well so here are some highlights. http://www.azcentral.com/story/sports/nfl/cardinals/2015/09/14/cardinals-rewind-what-we-learned-win-vs-saints/72234550/ Offense- L. Fitz had a slow 1st half but 70 yards in the 2nd, finally found openings in the Zone Def- Ariz scored on a 55 yard screen pass - Palmer wasn't sacked at all and the OL was missing 2 starters- Zona had 120 rushing yards a 4.8 ypc average (with a 2nd string RB - Ellington was injured)- Fells, Zona's TE had a big day. Especially on play action Defense-Brees had success with swing & screen passes (nothing new here)-Saints rushed for 54 yards on 20 attempts (2.7 average)-Cooks only had 4 grabs for 49 yards, mainly in part to Peterson's blanket Defense-Rest of Zona's secondary played well alsoST-Zona had a KO return for 43 yards This sounds eerily familiar but I think we pound the rock with Dougie. This should slow the game down and open up the play action for JW and the receiving corp. On defense, we know what Brees and Sean P bring to the table. We no longer have to worry about Graham. Cooks is primed to have a breakout game against us so shift the Safety (or safeties) to his side. Bring the pressure early and often but make sure the screen passes are in check. CJ Spiller is rumored to be back this week so please, please, please Lovie have a gameplan for his speed.
