There was a concerted effort by the media and PFF (NBC-->Notre Dame) to make Nelson into something he wasn't.
Quenton Nelson is extremely lucky, being the only player that has even played in the NFL from Notre Dame.
He tried to fight Bradley Pinion before the Bucs game and then couldn't handle Beau Allen during the game. At this point he's basically Alex Cappa and he still gets Pro-Bowls
You don't have to continue this ridiculous charade. Nobody is buying it.
Media built up Devin White the same way, that's how he was got 2nd team All-Pro while being one of the worst cover linebackers in the league. Maybe the worst. Only difference is the Colts were idiots and locked him into a ridiculous deal they cant get out of right now. As soon as they can cut him they will.

Sweet. Now do the 3 First-Team All-Pros and Pro Bowler every year in the NFL.
Just imagine if Devin White went to Notre Dame. Luckily for Nelson, Quenton is only one.
I have the best player evals on here. By far.
With the board falling how it did, I would love to hear who the guy with best player evaluations would have selected.

Two scenarios...
#1 JPJ is medically cleared
I take him at 26. Revisionist history I would have done Buffalo's two trade downs and taken him at 33. That would give me 5 picks tonight: 33, 57, 89, 92, 95. This is the draft's wheelhouse. If you were to look at draft's with hindsight this is where you win the draft.
#2 JPJ is not medically cleared
I explore trade up opportunities for Troy Fautanu. If it's something I don't feel comfortable with I take Darius Robinson or do the trade downs.
