I predicted the Bucs would go 5-11 this year and the reason why was I figured the offense would struggle but the defense would keep the games close. This is turned out to be a very scary scenario for the Bucs and the Glazers have to be petrified on the near future here why:1. Schiano went 0-8 last but does anyone remember that the out of the first four games 3 of the four were decided by a field goal or less. We were all complaining that they didn't know how to win a close game, well hell I wish we would be consistent now in keeping the games close. He almost beat Seattle, put 41 on Atlanta and kept this team fighting. I was a big Schiano fan and still think we would have been 3-2 or even 4-1 with him this year because he would have kept Revis and wouldn't have blown up the offensive line and left it demolished of talent like Lovie did. 2. Say what you want about Sheridan but he and Schiano seemed to always have this defense playing angry and aggressive. I loved watching the defense and I think they would have added so more talent and could have been even more polished this year. Just a two years ago we had the #1 ranked run defense under Schiano with Roy Miller, and Gary Gibson as the NT. Needless to say Lovie complains about the talent but not once did you hear Schiano complain about stuff like that he continue to teach and coach players at their positions.3. The hire of Lovie while I for one was excited because even though I sometimes am hard on him and praise Schiano its only because I just feel Schiano needed one more year. Raheem got three why couldn't Schiano. However I was more in tune of hiring a offensive head coach rather than Lovie only because I didn't feel his Chicago teams weren't all that impressive as far as week in and week out they were never consistent anyways. I really wish we would have looked at Greg Roman from San Fran or Bevell from Seattle for youth and I have always like Jim Caldwell or even Jon Gruden for a seasoned HC. I thought the Glazers might tuck their tails and bring back Gruden but that didn't happen so lets hope Lovie can rebound with this team because the Glazers wont be getting rid of him anytime soon. 4. The last thing that really bothers me is The Lovie Excuse machine. Has anyone noticed the sometimes short tempered smart ass answers, it pisses me off bad. First it was injuries, now its not enough talent. Well talent nor injuries caused him to go into halftime with 3 timeouts against St. Louis not even giving his Vet Quarterback chance to score. Talent nor Injuries were the cause of the 56 and 48 drumming from Atlanta or Baltimore. It was concerning to see how flat this team comes out and I thought it was a bad dream Sunday because I have never seen 4 TD scores like that and that fast. Coaching is a huge problem right now and you have to question how bad will this year be.
