I think unless Clowney is available at number 7, we are going offense. Lovie got fired because he didn't do enough on offense and I believe he feels that the whole world is wondering if he really gives a dang about offense.Plus, he knows that if he goes offense with the first pick and defense with the next 3, people will only remember that he went offense with that precious number 7 pick. it just makes sense.just my 2 cents
I think they need to focus on offense in this draft. Last year they made a huge miscalculation and overreacted and tried to get a coach with a bad scheme players who could make it work on defense and other than Crabtree and Glennon completely ignored the offense.The good news is that we are all set on defense. The bad news is that the offense sucks. I would draft 100% offense at this point. Needs?QBOG OGTEWROn defense, what do we need? A solid nickel corner? I'm not even talking about drafting a DE. We need an impact rushing RDE. You aren't drafting that guy unless you get Clowney. Free agency is the ONLY way to make that happen.
