Imagine Garret lining up next to Vita Vea...?
A restructure, 2 - 1st's and Kyle Trask would probably get it done...?
Wow. The Browns say he's not for sale, Licht would never give up two firsts in a trade, and Trask is a free agent.
yeah even if Trask wasn't a free agent, adds absolutely no value in a trade for a QB needy team. Browns likely view Bailey Zappe, Dorian Thompson and Jameis Winston as better options
Trask's best chance of NFL survivor is to remain with us as #2
Myles Garrett is entering his age 30 season. Wondering if we could get him for a 1st and a 3rd
Max Crosby is entering his age 28 season so a little more left in the tank one might surmise and be worth the 2 first
I'll take either one to be honest but when does Garrett turn into JPP/Shaq Barrett in terms of father time. I'd trade him for a 1st and a third in heart beat though.
then the question becomes, is Tampa good enough for him. We are a perennial playoff team but we are not on the same level as teams like Kansas City, Buffalo, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Detroit, and San Francisco when it comes to Super Bowl tiers
One can dream right? Lol I doubt we trade for him but my gosh that would be pretty sweet if we did
Myles Garrett will be 31 next year.
It depends on the asking price but I'm sure someone will give up more than us.
I don't wanna see another Revis trade.

there’s almost no chance that MG gets traded to any of those teams. Firstly, CLE isn’t going to be in any hurry to trade Myles to any AFC contender.
and secondly, the target team has to be able to pay him. All of those teams have already paid their QBs in excess of $50M/yr.
I think he’ll end up in the NFC, probably in WAS. They have their franchise QB on a rookie deal, and a ton of cap space.
Exactly. Too much to give up. Why not sign Khalil Mack? He's free (draft pick-wise). Sure he's not as good as Garrett at this stage, but we're not one player away. That's wishful thinking. Then if you really want to trade the draft pick get a corner or linebacker.I don't wanna see another Revis trade.
Licht may do something big on the free agent/trade market this offseason, but trading two firsts for a guy with that many miles on his tires - I don't see him doing that.

He just turned 29 in December. He won’t be 31 until December 29, 2026.

This isn't the NBA. Those first round picks are too valuable.
I like the Mack idea
Myles Garrett is a first ballot HOFer. And he still has good years in him. He was easily a top 5 defensive player this season. He plays the run and the pass. He is a complete beast. So there is no comparison with anyone else that is available. If we have to give up too much, then I’m for getting Trey Hendrickson over Mack. He’s had 17 1/2 sacks in each of the last two years. Get him for a 2nd rounder. Make a splash. Now is the time.
If we can afford him I’m all for it.
would take a lot of restructures and draft capital, but he’s worth it.
I'm for it
I'm for it
What compensation you good with? Would you give up a first rounder? I'd be good with two 2nd's.
