rumblings that perhaps Raheem Morris 2.0 bringing in Byron Leftwich as OC.
Byron is an outstanding OC.
Remember the insane amount of interviews and job offers he received after leaving here?
Elite territory.

I cracked up when I saw where he was coaching at Colorado as an assistant coach
Meet the new boss - the same as the old boss!

and yet, we will waste our frigging time rooting for this team and posting about them.
i mean hell, it was good while it lasted, back to being a joke organization
at least we will always have the 2002 and 2020 seasons
this last month has really taken the joy out of it, i actually didnt really care as much for the games like i did from 2020 through November this year. Ultimately probably better for my blood pressure if they will return to being a joke.

Gruden had a press conference just like that . . . was fired on the 16th

and the regular season ended in December so for Bowles that date would be something like the 22nd? Obviously nothing says they would be identical but ZERO yet that says Bowles is actually safe
I missed the beginning of the press conference. Did anyone ask him about his job status and what was his response?

He basically said, "I've earned the chance. i've won 3 straight division titles so that says alot. Where is my statue outside of Raymond James stadium?"
paraphrasing of course but Todd ain't going anywhere in terms of retirement, that's for sure.

Yup I didn't give two shits. Saved all my anxiety for my Ducks... It's sometimes a relief to be eliminated so you don't have to stress.
Bowles has won one playoff game in his HC career, and it was against an Eagles team that completely collapsed the entire second half of the regular season. We proceeded to lose the following week to Detroit, a team that was an actual playoff caliber team. Bowles never took the Jets to the playoffs.
How is a coach that has never taken a team on a deep playoff run the right guy to rely on to take us on a deep playoff run? Bowles only started getting to the playoffs when he started coaching in the worst division in football over the past four years. Coincidence? Clearly not.
His defense has also been figured out, which virtually every statistic proves. So we have a defensive coach with an obsolete defensive scheme, who has never had success in the playoffs in his entire career, being sold by the Glazers as the guy who best gives us a chance of winning a Super Bowl. All while two coaches we let walk, Coen and Canales, have turned around the franchises that were smart enough to hire them.
This is what completely incompetent ownership looks like. And the cowardly Glazers won't even speak to the media to answer for their actions. We have the worst ownership group in all of professional sports and it's not even close.

I'm so wrong you couldn't think of a single reason why.
If you genuinely believe the Glazers are a good ownership group then you simply don't understand basic things. Your deficiencies aren't my problem. The player survey every year, where the Glazers are always near the bottom of the league, should've been all you needed to know.
Some people are just stupid, though.
Where this is smoke, there is fire
incompetent franchises do incompetent things
Todd Bowles
Hate that i am right.
how could our ownership/front office be this bad
a borderline HOF coach becomes available, a top Ben Johnson/Liam Coen type coordinator also becomes available, and we are sitting here chomping at the bit to win 7-10 games next year...
unbelievable.
