We need to feed Godwin those 7-10 reception games again, use him on those smoke screens and less devin thompkins, he runs harder than white, he needs to be our do it all slot wr again. Godwin was always good for those gritty yards against tough coverage teams. Go back in film and install some of those yac plays lefty used last year for godwin These next 4 games we are up against all future 8+ win teams and good teams need to go to their tough guys who can keep the chains moving on offense and less gadget role players. Team needs to lock in for the next 4 weeks, I also think Godwin can easily fill that Deebo Samuel role of Wr/HB

Oh man just imagine 4 wr sets no 3 receiver set with Godwin as the second running back with Godwin/white as lead blocker for each other, forcing their 4th corner on the field but we play smash mouth football, or we motion out Godwin into that slot role and have him matched up on an LB cause they think it’s run oh man so many possibilities this is a matchup nightmare.
I know no 4th corner or slot corner is gonna be able to handle godwins run blocking or an lb will be able to matchup with him. Motioning him out allows you to know zone or man, and there only so many zone coverages you can run, you can immediately get the feel for what zones they like to run and force the defense into play calls they don’t like.
by allowing Godwin to learn the hb position you get him closer to the ball and gives him more touches and better matchups like deebo substitutions are gonna be that much more difficult to matchup when you see 14, 1 and anothr 3 wrs hell we could 3wrs 1 te 1 rb but Godwin in the backfield with white force that extra corner to tackle.
