Is it just me, or does it feel like for once the Bucs got the better end of the deal on something? It seems they landed the best candidate of all the other teams that were looking for head coaches
Yep, I am glad we struck first. I would not have minded hiring Zimmer though, I think MN did a good job with that hire. Looking like they might be bringing in Norv to run the offense, good move in my book as well.
Absolutely feels that way. There are still some question marks, especially with Tedford just because we haven't seen him ever call plays in the NFL but I feel much, much more comfortable with this staff then I ever did with the last two regimes. I am pumped

Idk man. For awhile there he was pretty much the rooney rule's b1tch getting bounced around.
I like the Titans hire.

Because he talked to McNair who fired his coach mid-season?....that's kind of a stretch, Bench......don't know if Lovie is the answer but at least the Glazer boys were smart enough to understand this move would make most fans put away their pitchforks and think about buying season tickets again.....it was a brilliant move politically.....whether Lovie is the real deal with the Bucs personnel....only time will tell.......Gruden was just a man at the right place at the right time.....timing is everything......everything.
I like the Titans hire.
Question marks with Whisenhunt though also. He really wasn't that good in Arizona without Kurt Warner. In San Diego he did good, but again...San Diego has a QB.Whisenhunt needs to figure out the QB situation in Tennessee or he may be doomed there. He'd have the same problem here and ultimately why it might not be a good fit.
I'm sure Lovie's availability as we struggled thru this past season crossed the Glazers' minds more than once. I honestly think if not for that, Schiano would have gotten his 3rd season here. Absolutely think Whisenhunt and Lovie were the clear "best" choices out there. Both were in Super Bowls too. Of course the Glazers were much more familiar with Lovie, and knew the fans were too....
