Bowles isn’t even a top 20 head coach
But, division championships…
Are you being serious, or sarcastic?
The Bucs would not have been in the playoffs in any other NFC division during Bowles' tenure.
8-9. 9-8. 10-7. 7-7 so far. 34-31. 1-3 in playoffs. Total 35-34.
I've seen enough. Overdue for a change. Need an offense-minded HC with all new staff. Johnson in CHI and Coen in JAX have turned things around in one season. Vrabel is defense-minded, but again, one season turnaround. Why not here in TB? I'll bet OBP is already working on it.
Sarcastic. The Bowles leghumpers have pointed to the division championships without any context of the division being dogshit and the team barely being over .500 in that dogshit division. If the team was actually good, 12-14 wins in this shitty division would have been the norm. But, as you said, 10-7 is the best Bowles could muster.
Wtf are you talking about??
Bowles is good enough to win us a Super Bowl. He’s a “stud” inside OBP.

you misspelled "cunt" lol. He's a cunt inside OBP. That's tough guy for "not good"
Would a new coaching staff get more out of the Bucs players? I think they would.
Absolutely. i posted this in another thread, but Vrabel has improved the Patriots defense from bottom 10 to top 5; and if you look at their depth chart, Bucs have more talent on defense; so what does that tell you about Bowles effectiveness in Tampa
Tbf they added 4 or 5 starters

Not the defensive players. They have Vea, Tykee Smith and Dean. Those are three guys that would be starting on the Rams defense. The other guys are either washed up (David and AWJ), god awful/no talent or quitters.

Not to take anything away from Vrabel because his big contribution is discipline and motivation, especially on the defense, but these kind of comparisons are always a little sketchy because so many factors are different.
Here one thing that stands lout is that the the two teams compared are on a completely different timeline. The Patriots haven't been division winners the last 3 or 4 years. They've been one of the worst teams in football. That means they had TOP premium picks they used to get Maye and Campbell. They picked up Landry (I think a one time PBer), Diggs, Carlton Davis etc etc.
Much credit to Vrabel and even fine to discredit Bowles, but even that scenario is different because the players on the Bucs have been listening to Bowles (apparently not listening lately) for years and playing WITH EXPECTATIONS and the team is injured and falling way behind those expectations. THIS IS WHEN CRACKS SHOW. Vrabel is a team legend coaching a team that could only go up and that has been fairly healthy (especially compared to the season prior) and has capitalized on its schedule to win and win. some more, so LOTS of positive vibes and momentum
There’s really no comparisons to other coaches needed. Bowles defenses have had a pass defense ranked 2023 - 29th, 2024 - 29th, 2025 - currently ranked 29th. There’s no excuse or explanation for that. Bowles defense is broken and it has been for awhile.
Licht’s answer to replacing Barrett and JPP has been signing them out of retirement.
Bowles is being crucified for Licht’s inability to reload the roster.
