The colored chrome isn't bad at all. Surprised it hasn't already been adopted in the nfl.As for me, I'm hoping it's not JUST the grill. Because it won't be long before that gets outdated (some that we've seen in college ARE incredible indeed.Tcu uses a purple chrome. Besides the worthless logo of theirs, it's pretty sharp.
The word on the street is that it's going to be an orange helmet with a big picture of Warren Sapp's face on the side. Captain Fear will be gone, and it will be a big QBkilla mascot similar to the sausage race guys.

Chrome helmets?...God no!!!...Hopefully the the in NFL kills that kind of buffoonery...
my source tells me greg schiano was the one who was behind this (he did the same at Rutgers with the Chrome helmets) and they thought about shelving it after they fired him but decided to keep it as they looked nice.

Teams have to give the NFL pretty far ahead notice on when they change their uniforms or logo. I think its a year. So this could be true.
