I was just reading an article that was all about Su'a Cravens potential of playing both LB/S. There's also there's been talk about Myles Jack been a ridiculous athlete with the ability to play both as well http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000646884/article/is-uscs-sua-cravens-the-nfls-next-great-hybrid A new trend brewing is the HYBRID LB/S player. Kam Chancellor is who I think started to make it popular. His versatility to play all over the field helps the team to come up with some creative schemes. With guys like this existing, don't you think that teams should be flexible with who plays where? I know plenty of teams already move guys based on what they think they're best suited for. I believe that is usually for somewhere along thet same position group. it's nothing drastic like going fro LB to DB or vice versa. Or even changing sides of the ball, although we are seeing a trend of Dline to Oline.Hindsight is 20/20 but Barron comes to mind as a team having the foresight to change a players position to put him in the best situation. I don't think I've seen stuff like this happening often because teams don't have the time to switch positions. They don't have the patience for players to adjust to a new position. Maybe I don't follow the league enough to know how often this actually happens more often than not but just wanted to put my two cents out there. What's everyone thoughts on this new trend of the hybrid player?
