With the 7th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Jaire Alexander.. Cornerback. Louisville.

1 - CB Jaire Alexander
*Wouldn't put it past our guys to take a CB that is widely thought to be a mid to late 1st round prospect. If they like a guy enough, they won't hesitate to take him at 7, much like how our own Jon Robinson and the Titans took WR Corey Davis #4. Davis was projected as a mid first round prospect, but went top 5. I really have a strong hunch that should we miss the big 3, and have no viable trade down partners, we will take a CB not named Denzel Ward. Jaire is the best corner in the draft, hands down. Could also be Mike Hughes or Josh Jackson. We shall see.

2 - RB Ronald Jones
*When I think about what Peyton Barber brings to the table, I think of his power and toughness. Between the tackles, short yardage situations, grinder. The perfect compliment would be a guy with speed and elusiveness. We need a threat off-tackle in tosses and sweeps. I believe, more than anything, that is what our running game was lacking last season. Doug didn't have the juice to get outside consistently. Nearly every run was between the tackles, hence the constant pressure up the gut. Ronald Jones is sure to be available at #39 and will provide a whole new dynamic to the run game. Ceiling is Jamaal Charles, floor is Reggie Bush.

4 - G/C Scott Quessenberry
*Older brother David is the Houston Texan that came back from beating cancer. Scott did a good job protecting Josh Rosen at UCLA. He ran a 5.09 40, which is right there with Ali Marpet. He actually reminds me of Marpet quite a bit. Hard worker, great in pass pro. Needs to develop a bit more as a run blocker, but otherwise could be the missing puzzle piece for our new look offensive line.

Sign SS Tre Boston and CB Kayvon Webster and let's roll.
