This is a proper uniform reveal picture. What we got is garbage and deserves every negative comment, angry email, and fan freak out it gets.

I'll wait to see them in person before I make my verdict, but my initial reaction is that these are **CENSORED**ing horrible and the numbers look like they came straight off a 1980's alarm clock. My biggest WTF? about this, is why on Earth would you release a sh!tty amatuer photoshop version two days before the actual release?
for what its worth, Its not the picture, its the PROGRAMMING . . you cant release a photo on the Internet that is magically calibrated to every different monitor in the world. Just pull up the picture from the Bucs site (the link is on the first page) and then compare it to the reused picture in the PR article. Same picture, but big difference. its the platform and the monitors . . that is why designers disclaim color and why printers still rely on Pantone etc..
That has zero to do with it imo. It's an obvious photoshop. Not even a good photoshop. It looks stupid. Why not introduce it to the world with an actual picture of the actual uni like every other team? It's just another failure of the Bucs advertising dept.
I know you are a graphic guy, but that's probably not right, at least based on my experience. In fact, I would guess (and it is nothing more than that) that they made a deliberate decision to release on a black backdrop so that the pewter would look different. No offense intended, but the designers at Nike would not leave their deign release to some junior guy at OBP. That picture was likely reviewed by many and optimized as best possible. It certainly is not an amateurish effort, its the opposite of that.

It looks very amateur Vin. I swear on my life I saw it a few hours ago and ignored it because I thought it was another poorly done fan made pic of what the new unis might look like. I honestly didn't evengive it a second look because I thought it was obviously not real. It was only a few hours later that I got back on my computer that I realized it was legit and my jaw dropped.
All I know is I hope it looks good in person. The Bucs botched yet another public relations event....but what else is new? All I care about is how it actually looks in person. At this point, all I know for sure is that those numbers are horrible and I doubt they last long. The rest of it could be sweet in person.

Vic I agree that they probably were "thorough" and it wasn't done my amateurs, but as someone who works in graphic design and film as well I'd have to agree with JDUB. There's something off with the picture (apart from the uniform haha), it's a mix of the position Dougie is in, the black backdrop which doesn't work well with the uniform, as well a "photoshop" look that is not very clean. But maybe all those things are caused by the strange (to be kind) design/color scheme of the uniform.
We had one of the best uniforms in the league. I am not sure this is an upgrade. There are some things I like...but some things I hate.I do actually like the pewter replacing the black. It's hard to see the color in that picture...but I think having pewter in the jersey is cool. I also like the pewter shoulders. It allows the shoulder numbers and logo to really pop. I also like keeping pewter pants.What I don't like is the fact that certain things just seem to be thrown in there. Like the orange that divides the pewter from the white on the shoulders. That orange starts out of nowehere and then just ends. It should start right at the collar and it should border the sleeve all the way around. It just seems out of place.The same thing goes for the stripes on the leg. They just kind of start and then stop. I would have preferred if the stripe came all the way up the side.Finally...not a fan of the numbers. I would be okay with the red with chrome and orange outline...but I don't like the way the numbers look like a digital clock. They should have just left the chrome to the outside of the numbers.
The numbers absolutely suck. It's going to look like a bunch of calculators running around. They should have gone with the font they use on their practice jerseys.
Fonts are powerful?W...t...f...It is a horrible font. But it doesn't make Akeem Spence look weak. And I haven't even seen him in that garb yet...Sheesh. The logo was too pristine. Too toony, and Nick Jr. looking. The font is bad.These can be fixed quickly.
