I asked my boss, a die hard ravens fan and 50ish year old woman. She really likes the new uniforms (called them "sharp"). I'm not sure how that makes me feel.
Terrible, but so is this team..........fits.

Had a 60-something year old customer today tell me he loves them. I think most of the initial negative reaction was due to shock and the disbelief that the change would be so drastic.

I agree with this. It took me a day or two to get over the drastic change. I never disliked them, just needed to adjust to the change. I really can't wait to see these in sunlight as the pewter color will make the uniform
Bucs should have just simplified and made them alternate jerseys,I would like them for a few games a year, the red ones atleast, the white ones look like CFL. Will miss the superbowl jersey, they were classic, these are trendy and borderline fugly

+1
I liked them from the get go. The numbers aren't terrible, I just don't like the gap that gives it the alarm clock look. If they were solid in that same shape they'd would be near perfect IMO. More pewter and actual pewter made it a million times better and the orange accents are awesome. The red is a little bright for me as I like the older red better. Pants and helmet are on point.Still a cool looking uniform even with a couple quirks.
Without segments they wouldn't look sword-ish. Think swords when you look at them , not alarm clock , and the alarm clock visual goes away.

I think you're right because in some pics you can't see the reflective gaps on the white numbers. They just look solid white and that doesn't look too bad. It's the red ones that look like they jumped directly of the old digital clock radio. Simplifying them a tad would go a long way imo.

It's the angles on the end and the divisions. They don't look exactly like alarm clock numbers, but close enough.I would leave the divisions in and just do something about the angles on the ends of the numbers.

The numbers are my only complaint. Taking away those lines inside the numbers looks a million times better. Oh well.

The angles give it the look of blades and swords. Take that out and then it really looks like an alarm clock.
Take out the gaps and make the reflective part orange....or do away with the reflective idea altogether since it feels like a lame gimmick anyways....and I think the numbers would be fine. It's definitely the divisions that make it look like a digital clock. Without them they don't look digital at all.I like the font used for the names. That part is a win imo.

Jersey on the right looks much, much better.
