I can’t imagine the Bucs drafting a 6’5” center in the first round (especially for a 6’0”/6’1” QB), and while the first round is kinda high for a Guard, it’s not unheard of later in the round, down near the bottom, where we pick.

Depends on whether the Bucs value he & JPJ as highly as the media.

I suspect the Seahawks & Cowboys will NOT pass up the chance to add JPJ before we pick.

I bet Jason Licht has his iOL picks already game planned to select in the 2nd round… or later.

I agree.  I suspect he isn't looking at the plug and play steady eddie high floor low ceiling types.   He wants the next Marpet, Goedeke, Mauch, guys who have the physical and mental makeup but maybe are small school, a tackle to move to guard, or guard to move to center.

I’m thinking they’re going to roll with Hainsey another year and go LG no later than the 3rd round.

I expect to see OLB/DL or WR in the first 2 picks.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Licht picks a DT like Johnny Newton if he falls to us at 26. Believe I heard SR say recently that same thing: if the right edge doesn’t fall, you can still bring pressure from the middle…

Then get an edge you can develop in the 2nd round.

Which leads to getting your iOL in 3rd or 4th round.

I think that if the right player doesn’t drop, then the Bucs brass have a longer timeline than just one year.
