Did someone on 49ers sidelines knock down Seahawks' Jeremy Lane?By Ryan Wilson | CBSSports.comJanuary 19, 2014 7:44 pm ETSeahawks gunner Jeremy Lane goes down on the 49ers' sidelines. (Fox Sports) Early in the second quarter, the Seahawks punted deep to 49ers returner LaMichael James, who was promptly destroyed by Ricardo Lockette. The result: a muffed punt recovered by San Francisco. But on the very same play, Seahawks gunner Jeremy Lane was forced out of bounds, as often happens. But unlike every other punt you've ever seen, it looks like someone on the sidelines in 49ers sweats gave an unsuspecting Lane a forearm shiver as he tried to make his way back onto the field.
It's hard to tell for sure because the view is obscured, and as several commenters point out below, Lane may have actually tripped on the down marker. Ultimatley, the league will have to decide what happened, intent, etc., but according to NationalFootballPost.com's Jason Cole, "The NFL is expected to look into an incident."Earlier this season, Steelers coach Mike Tomlin was fined $100,000 for finding his way onto the field and inadvertently getting in the way of Ravens returner Jacoby Jones.
Really hard to say.
looked like he tripped over the down marker. NFL should look in the incident where the Seattle fan threw food at Bowman when he was being carted off. That person needs to be banned from every NFL game for life.

Not to mention they should fix the rule about being able to review a fumble recovery. Bowman clearly had that ball even with his leg going the wrong direction. He got slapped by the rules and the Hawk fan's food!
Reading the title I thought sore loser Blount flew to Seattle and went off again.

HAHAHAHAHA!!! Zing!!!!!!!!!
It looks a little odd... when you see the guy in the red cap standing so close to the guy with the headset holding a play chart (not involved in the incident)......and you can see the guy who was involved was standing close behind the guy in the red sleeves...Picket fence?
Haha I misread the title as "bit"
no, watch the black dude in the black/grey jump suit's feet before and after he hits himhe goes from not standing on the first down marker, to standing on it and catching his balancehis body language also blatantly gives away that he just shoulder chucked the guy toonfl should definitely look into this

That's just an assumption. For all you know he could have tried to get out of the way, lost his balance, and ended up appearing to interfere. There is nothing that clearly shows the coach went out of his way to do anything malicious. NFL investigates and finds nothing.

no dude, you're looking at the wrong person, its the guy behind the coachwatch the gif another 10 times or so, the guy is clearly coming forward, not losing his balance as he gets out of the wayits actually pretty obvious - he shoulder checks him
Yeah the gray sleeve guy throws a shoulder or an elbow. He is off balance and everything. He did line it up perfectly behind the red sleeve guy though. If the player had tripped on the down marker it would have moved a little and it doesn't. Also a player that tripped would have fallen top half first, but he came out feet first. The only way for for his top half to have been held up was for gray sleeves guy to hit or grab him.

That was my take as well. It almost looks like he clothes lined him, the way he went to the ground.
