Patriots are really getting one of the easiest seasons ever. One of the easiest schedules.

Chargers with one of the worst offensive lines ever and their best RB hurt.

Texans without their line and top weapons.

Broncos without Nix.

Must be nice

and alas, the Patriots manage to get themselves another Tom Brady.

such bullshit

oh great, we get to see yet another Rams-Patriots match-up in the Super Bowl

suppose it's better than  Stidham-Darnold match-up

McVay is pretty damn amazing.  Might take some in-game decisions back but to keep on wining while shedding good coaches because you are winning ... hats off to him.

He's one bad throw away from being sent home. Moore gave up on the route and Williams let it rip too early.

McVay is a top tier coach but he played to not lose and it *should* have cost him.

Broncos can still win. Maye might shit the bed with turnovers... But how shitty is that with Nix breaking his ankle centering the ball.

Patriots will fall off next year guaranteed. I will take the under on wins.

Maybe he will get a 4th down/analytics coach in 2026!

Bills doing a pretty large shakeup

Pegula also confirmed General Manager Brandon Beane will lead the search for a new head coach and announced that Beane now has the title of president of football operations as well. It adds up to a major change in how the Bills will be doing business and more word about the direction they plan to go should be coming soon.

The last 8 teams all had coaches that are aggressive outside of Seattle. The whole playoffs is filled with coaches that stay aggressive.

McVay went run run run run run run punt and then the game was tied 2 minutes later

Yes I was NOT saying he was correct to call those plays.

I was saying that plays are called in real time and so even with a lot of input and data coaches (just like players) make mistakes, bad choices etc.  Allen fumbled a ball that he was running for no real purpose.  McVay play calling in the moment. . . .etc.

Part of what makes NFL outcomes so uncertain.  Have to outscore the other team, overcoming your own bad plays and calls and overcoming questionable ref calls and even weather (defense and run games travel, offenses not as much) The Rams won, in part, because of a Bears QB and WR seeing different things.

Great sport

yeah it was time to move on from McDermott.

a layup path to the Superbowl and you dont even make it to the conference championship game

I mean... Layup going to the #1 seed on the road and losing last second on three controversial calls isn't what I would call a layup.

We saw how inconsistent the NFL has been with this whole "catch" shit... Cooks vs Adams for example. Same deal. Either way, Bills shot themselves in the foot but also go hosed.

Trust me I know. The bills are essentially the same as my Ducks.

here is the opposite take:

“This shit here is so stupid honestly sickening,” [Jordan] Phillips wrote. “The best coach I’ve ever been around.”

Phillips included a graphic that showed the Bills have a 106-58 record in McDermott’s nine years as head coach, and that the Bills had the fifth-most points scored and third-fewest points allowed in the NFL during that time."

Patriots and Broncos just had the easiest schedules, i think #1 and #3 all time in the Superbowl era

Bo Nix is mediocre - same numbers as Bryce Young, CJ stroud trash, Justin Herbert - trash in playoffs, Aaron Rodgers washed, Drake Maye having a good year but still inexperienced guy, and Trevor Lawrence is a top 20 QB before his last 5 games of the year.

This was the Bills year and definitely a lay up when compared to the previous years when Mahomes, Lamar, and Burrow (to an extent) were in the mix.
