If Mike Zimmer or Ken Whisenhunt are on the short list as HC then the Bucs will need to wait. If Lovie Smith is the Bucs 1st choice then all that is needed is finding a GM.
Gotta love how fans are saying no to Lovie, but yes to Schottenheimer, a guy who coached 16 years and never won a conference title, and has been out of the league since 2006.
Two years ago I wanted marty here, but times have changed as well as our needs and the nfl rules.Imvho, we need an offensive style coach. We've gone this dc route twice with very little success.
I'm not sure getting into an arms race with the rest of this division is a great idea. We are just too far beyond at this point. Pairing a great defense with an offense that grinds out 8 minute touchdowns might be exactly what it takes to beat these guys and we're pretty close to that team.

I agree completely. One certainty about the Glazers is that they are stealth. There were various names being tossed about list time we went down this road and no one predicted that they'd pull Schiano outta their asses.....not even DTG. I'm taking every one of Schefter's, Mort's, Clayton's reports with a grain of salt and will wait til i get scoop from my peeps.Stay tuned....
