When in the world is Todd Bowles going to adjust his defense in pass coverage?

Al Michaels says it is a lot of zone and I can confirm this as I see this as well. Bowles like Morris are playing a lot of zone with injuries with their DBs.

He is playing soft coverage without pass rush .... you may beat jamarcus russell by playing that but not a decent QB. A good one will take you apart!

What's incredible is that the blitz was finally getting home on that last drive and as soon as it was 3-28 they decided to revert back to the soft zone, and again on 4th and 14. Not calling a time out before that is coaching mal-practice.

Bucs tried to add pieces and Licht deserves blame as does the players, but Bowles needs to be replaced. You can't replace 53 guys
Look at New England, Denver, Jacksonville, Los Angeles Chargers, etc. Teams are at the top of the AFC either in their 1st or second year with a new guy. They didnt overhaul their teams.

Bowles is probably gone, but I dont think the soft cover is play calling or coaching as much as its a total lack of discipline. I posted this somewhere else but watch the 4th down completion late. Ask yourself what AWJ, who some though as an early HOF candidate, is actually doing on the play?
I get that safeties on a struggling defense get exposed because they are trying to cover MORE than their responsibility BUT isnt this easy completion by the Falcons RIGHT in his zone? and he isnt even close? If its tampa 2 (I think it is) the rookie DB below him is playing it correctly in accounting for the short receiver and has appropriately passed the deeper receiver off . .. but no AWJ. I think he's in the middle of the field?
BOWLES IS STILL RESPONSIBLE, so I am just pointing this out to say the D is more F'd then play calling or scheme. It has multiple payers, including key players like AWJ, not doing their basic job.

Fire, I think you are watching the games on tv. If you're there live wow does it stand out that they have a problem on the defense. Body language etc.
You can probably find a video of Evans screaming on the sidelines.
Bowles has got to be gone at season end. The only way he's not is if the team decides to side with him and basically clean out the D and start over. I don't see that happening.
Winfield hasnt been used the same this year. He was always best when they moved him around the field. He's not a guy you want playing zone in the back end every single snap. His best ability is his versatility.Then players need to get called out or benched.
