I think once Goedecke comes back we'll be alright, then we just have to worry about a back up RG. By then we should have Wirfs, Godwin, and Evans back. McMillan after the bye, then we'll pretty much be full, then we just need to hit our stride and we can make some noise.
Yep!

Yeah I'm not understanding all the chicken little stuff.
We are 3-0 despite massive injuries and poor 4th quarter defenses. We've found ways to win ugly.
The Egbuka pick looks like a steal and it offered critical depth at a position of what was perceived strength but due to injuries weakened. Licht killed it with that pick.
We need to add some help at guard and LB and we will be a championship contender.
I think we will sit at 5-2 when it's all said and done.
Yeah I'm not understanding all the chicken little stuff.
What?
Just simply pointing out how the schedule is set in relation to when we should see the horses return.

Yes, we are.
And, I also think it's fair to point out that squeaking out wins against the Falcons, Texans, and Jets might be a wee bit easier than doing it against the Eagles, Seahawks, 49'ers, and Lions.
Again, that's not chicken little stuff.
Anyways, Philly laying 3.5 this week. I'm taking them to cover.

Wasn't referring to you. Observations from multiple threads etc... lots of "it's over" talk which is just silly.
I'm skeptical too when you barely beat bad teams

Heard.

I always laugh when someone weighs in on the quality of our victories. The Lions lost to the Vikings, the Vikings got skunked by the Falcons, the Falcons were blanked by the Panthers. We have all played 3 games. Should I continue???
Anyone talking about schedule this early in the season and "barely beating bad teams" is a casual and must be new to the sport. You'll get there...

Im gonna be honest here. I don't think we are a good team right now. Could that be a reflection of our injuries, probably. But I dont think we can hang with the top teams in the NFC. I really think we could be a juggernaut if we were healthy...but we're not. Lets see how the oline plays before making any judgments. Bucky hasnt been killing it in the run game and the return of Godwin (my fav WR BTW) isnt assured after an ankle dislocation. If we could return to form, and by that i mean oline play-last season bucky, and last season Godwin, then I would be thinking Superbowl...but its yet to be seen. With that being said, I think our secondary is getting there, but our inside LB needs to be addressed in the draft.

This is fair and really the question about the Bucs. We don't really know what they are because ... injuries do actually matter.
it doesn't take a lot on either side for the Bucs to be a good team and both sides are related. A high scoring running offense helps the defenses statistical performance, and same in reverse
Bucs offense is still producing despite the injuries but the inconsistencies with slow first half starts is taking its toll so Grizzard has to look into improving on that front for his unit and himself. Defensively, the Bucs defense needs to play a complete game but you can see that the ingredients are there and force more turnovers. Special teams is the most inconsistent unit on the team right now and needs to be addressed ASAP.
Great second half of play and great adjustments by the coaching staff.
We need a complete game from every aspect of our team. We haven't seen that once this year. Our running game and run defense continue to be the strength of our team.
Can we get to 6-3 to start the season?
This thread was so bad it brought me back from the dead to tell you how bad it was. Thats pretty bad.
Never slander our creamsicle Unis ever again, by the way. TWO AND 0 FOR THE ORANGE!!! GO BUCS!
Ya beat who's put in front of ya. We play every sunday like everyone else, ugly or not.
