I'm not going to say that Noah Spence won't be a bust, but I don't think it's fair all this on the bubble stuff this year either. Dude played through the torn rotator cuff as a rookie, and showed promise. Yes, he didn't use his hands, and yes he still can't, but he's never even had the opportunity to try. You can put re-injuring the rotator cuff on playing through the injury his rookie season more than anything, including being underweight last year. It's very possible that because of the injury, he'll never have the upper body strength. He deserves the opportunity to show whether that is the case though. With JPP and GMac and hopefully some CB play that starts within shouting distance of receivers, he should be able to get some one on one pass rush opportunities on the edge. I want to see what he can do with his hand up, and see if he can find some sort of speed to power recipe. Even it takes him most of the year to show anything, he's basically a rookie imo right now and barring some waiver wire magic we're probably not going to conjure up anything better for another edge rusher this year.
