Non-football Threads

I apologize for making a thread about this (first world effing problems) and I know moderation is slim, but this is well beyond excessive at this point. There are other forums for off topic conversations. If folks aren't going to be courteous enough to use those forums, can we please get off-topic threads moved there. They've gone well beyond "clutter" and are now moving legit topics off the front page.
