One the NFL's true Ironmen is Dick Lebeau. He played his college football at Ohio State and was a member of the 1957 National Championship team, playing both both ways, as both a DB and RB, for the legendary Woody Hayes. His NFL career began in 1959 with the Cleveland Browns as a 5th round pick. He was cut in training camp, but later that season signed with the Detroit Lions as a DB. He played 14 years as a Lion, recording 62 INTs, 7th best all-time in the NFL. I started watching the NFL in 1960 and remember that secondary Detroit had that no QB wanted to face. In 1973, he was hired by the Eagles as their Special Teams coach, and now at age 77 recently resigned from the Steelers, possibly headed for Arizona. The math says that's 56 years in the NFL; the great Don Shula only lasted 44 years as a player and coach; wimp... ;D I keep thinking Lebeau looks like someone in the movies... .html?filters%5Bterm%5D=dick%20lebeau&filters%5Bprimary%5D=images&filters%5Bsecondary%5D=videos&sort=1&o=28 http://www.imdb.com/media/rm1932887808/nm0468957?ref_=nmmd_rg_md3
