Start the season off, the offense looked bad. Just not together.
As the season crept forward, we saw some wrinkles, mostly motion and really fast check-downs, that are more to Bradys liking. Did the offense get better because cohesion and time allowed for this uptick or was it because Brady took over the scheme? It’s obvious Brady is a better QB than Byron Lefty ever was. Brady has also played longer, and is older, and has the mind of a super bowl winning coach/player already. Byron lacks for what Brady has.
Also, as the year went by, the secondary started to get up for games, and getting Vea back was a huge spark in their front demeanor and production. Bowles is a crafty schemer, and he deserves a share of that SuperBowl MVP trophy.
So how much influence does BA have on scheming? Is he more of a motivator and figurehead these days? Or is he a crafty schemer as well? How good is BA in your opinion? He seems perfect for Brady and the Bunch. He knows a lot of these guys are tremendous playmakers, so he just cuts the loose, and has a feel for the locker room, and the players. Keeping egos in check and focused is a tremendously underrated skill. Like Phil Jackson had.
