So far...The Bucs tax seems pretty high in that top free agents don't want to sign here despite the lack of a state income tax for reasons that we are non-competitive and we have a reputation for cutting players after one yr of their contracts and we have suspect coaching and high turnover of assistants. The teams lack of an indoor practice facility is also a turn-off as the temperature at camp is brutal. The lack of a top tier QB is also a huge issue. Players want to win and that's something we don't do. Until Tampa gets an Elite QB we will never be relevant in free agency because that is what stirs the drink and the head coach and ownership frankly aren't inspiring anyone. Better hope the Bucs draft Winston and he pans out. If not, flush the next 5 years. Our ownership remains an issue. Our talent evaluation has been very suspect.  Look at last years draft and you see mostly no major finds. Aside from Evans, the draft was pretty poor. All I want to say is that if the Bucs don't address the issues above then it will continue to be difficult to draw top tier free agents without overpaying like Dominick did when he was desperate. Dirk Koetter came here because he was told he could develop the top pick in the draft. I remain confident in this and expect that he can give whomever that is a realistic chance to succeed. Scout
