Brooks has 3 OT's going in the first round (Ramczyk, Bolles, Robinson) and an OG as well (Feeney)

Zierleing also has 3 OT's going in the first round (Robinson, Ramczyk, Bolles) and another OG (Forrest Lamp)

Reuter also has 3 OT's going in the first round but much later in the first round with an OG selected ahead (Forrest Lamp), and then followed by the OT's (Ramczyk, Bolles, Robinson). But Reuther also has another OG selected in the first round in Feeney.

Jeremiah has the least amount of OL going in this mock draft but he still has two OT's projected in his mock. Ramczyk @#20 overall (a pick after the Bucs) to the Broncos. And Bolles @#26 overall to the Seahawks.

Making this more interesting is that Lamp in college was rated highly as an OT.

So, that is four OT's the Bucs could consider in the first round alone. Even an OG like Feeney would be an upgrade.

Then there are players like Pat Elflein and Ethan Pocic where either one can sneak into the first round (my money is on Pocic).

Based on my board I put together and comparing to the pros mock drafts I have at least four OL going in the first round in many draft scenarios I run (eg Robinson, Ramczyk, Lamp and Pocic). Not sure what teams see in Bolles but a lot of the pro analysts and NFL teams see him very highly.

My question to the red board is why shouldn't the Bucs consider drafting an OL in the first round? My argument is that since it is a deep draft at WR and RB the Bucs can afford to wait to rounds 2-4 to address WR, RB, and TE. Furthermore. if the Bucs like a lot of under sized defenders on defense then those players can be targeted at the tail end of the draft. Taking undersized defenders high in the draft doesn't seem good value to me unless they are near elite level or projected as such.

It would be a real travesty if the Bucs PASS on drafting an OL in this upcoming draft (especially in the first round).
