Despite slowing down from his otherworldly start, Shaq Barrett has at least half a sack in four straight games and a full sack in three of four. Vea is getting better and better while JPP and Suh continue to play very well in their roles. Throw in Carl Nassib and you've got a deep front capable of generating pressure from multiple looks.
The secondary is young and played well today, but I think it will only behoove them, and this team, to keep this group of pass rushers together going into next year. Yes, JPP and Suh's age are risks, as is Barrett's "non-contract year" regression, but the advanced stats show that he's a legitimately elite pass rusher this year, even beyond the sack numbers (12.5 now).
This team hasn't had a reliable pass rush since the early 2000s, and now you've got a group that has shown, when healthy, they can take over games late when the other team has to throw downfield.
