Glennon is the backup not Cassell.
If you don't think Glennon is a starter then all getting Cassell does is give you two backups. And I couldn't even make sense of the OP, just the names Cassell and Frazier in the same jumble of words that only bore a vague resemblance to a sentence...where is this idea even coming from?
It was a tweet from Ian Rapoport (NFL Network). He wasn't saying he heard anything, just that Tampa could be a fit for Cassel. It's really only speculation....I just hate the idea of it.
The context of the tweet was that he listed teams with coaches that had coached Cassel. He didn't include Tampa Bay. Someone tweeted him "...and Tampa Bay now for Cassel...with Frazier," to which he said, "Good call." He wasn't saying it was a good fit, just that it was another team that had a coach that coached Cassel that he had forgotten.
Josh McCown or Matt Flynn anyone? Both have more upside than Cassel or Vick.
Matt Flynn? I would rather have Dan Orlovsky

I kinda have to agree with that. And I'm no fan of dan.
Would rather have Matt Schaub after the Texans cut him
Agreed. Not sure what his price will be, but he might just be happy to stay in the NFL after the 2013 Texan meltdown...
Matt Schaub would be a great guy to bring in for QB competition and as a mentor type for Glennon.

Meh....Schaub has fallen apart mentally . Not sure how that's a good example for Glennon.
As a backup he's exactly what you want. He can move the football. He's not dynamic and he's not a starter but the again that is why you sign him as a backup.
Yup, pretty much my take. For a backup, you really aren't going to find anyone that's a better option.
