Hate to bring up a negative during this very exciting win streak, but was anyone taken back by OJ Howard’s play this last week?
I want to say I am an OJ fan and loved him as a prospect, but often this year and very much so this past week he has the look like Tarzan play like Jane thing going on.
1. No catch looked easy/natural
2. Showed 0 grit after the catch. Specifically a 2nd down play where it looked like he easily could of grinded it out for 1st and just showed 0 effort
3. That missed block on the end around to Perriman was embarrassing. Just a major whif.
Again I’m a big OJ fan since he was a prospect, and he has certainly shown flashes (mainly last year). Was anyone else disappointed in what they saw? Really seemed just like a grit and want to thing to me. Needs some of the Chris Godwin tenacity in him.
