Washington lost Vernon Davis to retirement, and let Jordan Reed go. They are looking for a receiving TE. Their top TE Jeremy Sprinkle didn't produce much for the team. That is with an d old Davis, and Reed missing the entire season. I start here because a lot of people will say trade for Trent Williams. This is entirely unfeasable. The differnce in cap hit is 11 million more. There is literally only 3 players we could release and get even close to that amount. Jenson, Marpet, and LVD. That will not happen. They also have no 2nd round pick at all. I would not settle for less.
New England is out as they have no 2nd round pick either.
Carolina needs someone to replace Olsen, but with much much greater needs at CB and LB, I don't think they will trade their 2nd round pick. My gut is Simmons in round 1 and A.J. Terrell in the 2nd. Who knows they may offer something sweet to Det like their 3rd round and a 3rd or 2nd next draft to make sure they get him. The only threat is NYG. Their 3rd need is a run stopping DT but I am sure they can find one later in the draft.
Indianapolis lost Eric Ebron, and they like to platoon their TEs. Even though Jack Doyle started every game. He only had 58% of the targets and completions at that position. They will use their first of 2 picks in the 2nd for a WR to go with Hilton. Do they need to platoon. I am not their coach and other than DL help they really don't have a glaring need.
The most likely choice is Dallas. They have by far need a #1 corner for their first pick. The next and only obvious need is a pass catching TE. Their current starter is
Blake Jarwin. He's not bad, but OJ Howard clearly better. They also covered all their holes ondefense in th offseason.
