We are one play away from being 2-1... Everyone just step away form the keyboard.

I made the 5 hour trip to Tampa this weekend to see the Bucs play. Had an amazing time, and was really hoping we could get the last 2 minutes in before the lightning delay. Who knows what may have happened when we had all the momentum and the crowd as load as they were all game right there at the end.

The obvious, kicking put our backs against the wall at the end of the game. We were chasing those points all day. At the same time, the defense made the Rams look like the greatest show on earth again (came in without a TD).

It is clear what we were hoping to be a playoff run year, has turned into another re-building year. All because we were one play away. Really wish we could have seen the collision at the goal line on the last play. Unfortunately, Winston doesn't have eyes in the back of his head and no-one had his 6 on that last play. What we saw was a QB that looked hesitant to tuck and run, but he actually was still just pump faking to keep the defenders back as he inched towards the goal line. After all, we were on the 15 yard line. Any defender can leave a receiver in the endzone and beat the QB to the goal line for the stop if the QB starts at the 15. What Winston was doing may have actually worked, had the guy not been coming from behind him.. There was a 50/50 chance Winston gets in from the 8 or 9 on a spring to the goalline.

All in all, we had plays throughout the game that we could have made to win the game. Didn't have to come down to the last play. We still need help through the draft for this team to get to where we need to be. Looking forward to the next game. The entire perception of the season can change next week if we can beat the defending Super Bowl Champions!!
