* Josh was a pleasant surprise yesterday, looked to pick up chunks of yard every play and continued to move the ball down field. There were no boneheaded picks where he threw right to the defense while going down. MC I owe you a steak because, you were right he did throw for 300 yards. * Mike Evans reminds me of a young TO with out the drops. He's physical in the run game and goes up and gets the ball at the highest point. Makes me wonder what year two will bring. * VJax looked solid and looks like he and Josh are on the same page. I could see both him and Evans reaching 1000 yards this season.* our defense is bad, when we have good coverage, we don't get the pass rush. When we have good pass rush we don't get the coverage. When we have both a flag is thrown for defensive holding, hands to the face, or pass interference. * J. smith needs to start over M. Johnson from here on out. Smith actually comes off the edge with fire. Maybe it's Johnson's injury but I haven't been impressed with him at all. He plays weak and once he's engaged he gives up on the play. Time to see what Smith can develop into.* arroyo's play calling wasn't that bad yesterday. I didn't find myself scratching my head on his calls except the wildcat call which I think he was just trying to add a new wrinkle to the offense.* although everyone wants a QB in next years draft in the first round, I think we needy trade down and get a middle linebacker, foster just doesn't get to the deep middle quick enough and teams eat up that soft middle of the field week in and week out. Plus this team needs more picks. * Our punter needs to go. It hasn't been just one week, it's every week he either shanks a kick or punts for 20 yards. Field position is crucial and he has killed us this year.* our oline played really bad yesterday and luckily Josh made some moves to not make it look as bad.* still think Glennon needs to play the remainder of the season to atleast develop him or put more tape of him out there for trade bait. No offense to Josh just think this season is lost and we need to develop our depth.* I'm tired of hearing Lovie say we have grown or gotten better in certain areas. No we haven't, we have a good pass rush one week and the next none at all, we have a good offensive week then none the next week. It's called consistency, and until this team finds some we haven't gotten better, we've stayed the same. Week in and week out is when we have gotten better and simply put we haven't.
