I’ve never been called an optimist, but this post will surely lead to that. I think coaching makes a bigger difference in The NFL than with any sport. Now yes, you need talent, but the talent difference from team to team isn’t great.
Our first 3 games will make or break our season and I feel all 3 games are winnable. Our coaching staff will put us in position to win all 3 of these games… and I think we’ll build momentum with each win. Then comes our rough stretch over the next 5 weeks. If we can find a way to go 2 and 3 in those 5 weeks then we will be 5 and 3 at the mid-way point. Winning breads confidence and I’d like to see us playing the back half of our schedule riding a winning record. 10-6… and possibly a wild card spot.
