http://www.oregonlive.com/ducks/index.ssf/2014/12/oregon_ducks_praise_jameis_win.html "He really can make a throw from anywhere on the field, you have to respect that," said senior safety Erick Dargan, whose six interceptions lead Oregon. "We play some pretty good quarterbacks in our conference, but a complete quarterback that can take off and run and take the hit and step into the throw, no, we haven't."The 6-foot-4, 230-pound Winston has completed 65.4 percent of his passes for 3,559 yards and 24 touchdowns this season, against 17 interceptions. His passer rating of 147.0 is 23rd-best nationally, and he's in the top-10 with his 296.6-yard per game average. His NFL-ready arm has thrown the Seminoles into title contention each of his two seasons as starter, but it's also baited him into overconfidence a few times about where he can fit a pass in. "I just feel like he's a playmaker, honestly," senior corner Troy Hill said. "Sometimes when you're a playmaker, you want to always make plays and don't let the game come to you."Winston led the Seminoles to last season's BCS national championship and remains undefeated in his career.Equally impressive to middle linebacker Derrick Malone are the plays that don't aren't added to his statistics, how on long passes or rushes, Winston doesn't shy from running downfield to throw a block.Just as the Ducks weren't shy in expressing how big of a challenge it will be to knock of Winston for the first time in his career.
