Jermichael Finley expected to fully healBy Carter Mulvihill - Feb 13th, 2014 at 5:18 pm According to his agent Blake Baratz, there is a 99.9 percent chance that Jermichael Finley will heal from his spinal fusion, reports Dan Hanzus of Around The League. Finley, who spent his first six seasons with the Green Bay Packers, is a free agent-to-be and is not likely to return to Green Bay. According to Baratz, Finley will be recovered in four to eight weeks, which coincides with the start of free agency on March 11th, when Finley will be asked to workout and pass physicals before he is signed by any team.
Perhaps a further indicator that the Packers plan to move on from Finley is their signing of Raymond Webber, an undrafted free agent out of Arkansas-Pine Bluff who’s had stints with the Jets and Buccaneers in recent years. Webber played receiver in college, but the Packers have listed him as a tight end, per Mike Wilkening of NBC Sports. He’ll likely have to fight all offseason to make the Week 1 roster, but Webber could fit as a move tight end in a creative, weapon-filled Packers offense. After spending the 2011 season with the Bucs on IR and then being cut in camp with the Jets in 2012, Webber was signed last season in the CFL by the Calgary Stampders, but was cut in training camp. http://nflspinzone.com/2014/02/13/jermichael-finley-expected-fully-heal/
Wow. PR must really be desperate for traffic if they have Michael post this particular piece of irrelevance.

Mr. Bot posts lots of trash everyday. You know this.

Its not typically great stuff, but it beats 30+ pages of discussing Johnathan Vilma's bigotry.

Even that's debatable. At least the Vilma discussion is amusing. This is just trash with zero value.

The Vilma page was ok for the first couple when he was the topic. As with most "hot button" issues it quickly devolved into people with personal beliefs on one side personally attacking ones on the other. I agree though, most of the Michael-bot threads are fairly bad but it occasionally produces a good topic.
Finley being healthy soon and ready to play next season is decent news to me. I think he could be an option for us and he was looking great before that hit, and maybe he'll get a nice 1-year deal to prove he's good.

Would love that, only most of the "prove it" deals seem to go to the contenders. I could easily see him in New England on such a deal.
Who?
Who?
Bird is the word!
I used to be a fan but dude is made of crystal

Can he block? Wright is a nice receiving TE, we need a good blocking TE in the draft or free agency.
