On the Williams story, many people just don't pay attention or they want the news to match with their own pre-set beliefs, hopes and desires. This is why you have criticism of PR's January report coupled with acceptance of a carefully worded (read:misleading) non-denial denial by William's attorney and acceptance of an article that parroted William's attorney's non-denial denial. It looks like PR was 100% right on this story. For goodness sake, the guy had a Friday house party and then an awful Sunday game against the Cowboys . . .that is ON THE FIELD performance . . people should be outraged
Oh yes, kudos to the TBT for getting a quote from a disgruntled neighbor! ::)"Quick, stop the presses"
weird disconnect on these boards. Glennon plays decent as a rookie and yet a bunch of the board want to throw him overboard NOW. Mike Williams was apparently so hungover from a house party that he tanked in an ACTUAL GAME . . . and the response is "give him more time?" Don't get me wrong, I am all for Lovie trying to turn MW around, but ... .
Who wants to throw Glennon overboard? I think even his biggest detractors acknowledge he's a solid backup.

You're probably right Brads. Overboard was probably a bad word choice
Regardless what a few of you drama queens might think of the source of this piece, this needed to be said and good for JBF for saying it.
Williams is a darn good receiver and the Bucs need him. Joe doesn’t recall anyone moaning when Williams’ contract was extended last summer. http://www.joebucsfan.com/?p=107446#more-107446
That is because none of us knew just how much trouble MW19 was getting into. What a stupid thing to write.

and this is the lens that Reynolds was looking through....."Englehard told Roy Cummings of the Tampa Tribune that he was unaware of Williams getting fined for anything more than a uniform violation, at least that's how Cummings positioned Englehard's response on Twitter. Just because Englehard was unaware of it doesn't mean that it didn't happen. I called Englehard an hour ago and hope to hear back from him.".....Reynolds seems to be skeptical of what Cummings wrote but at the same time admits he hasn't spoken with Engelhard.
Lovie Smith and Licht don't sound happy to all, so it's stupid for people to suggest this is just a sensationalized media creation.
What kills me is how is play was affected on the field by his life style off, that's when I have issues!! 2 catches in Dallas he cost his team
This was probably the worst part of the article, and a little surprised it suckered people.1. The party was two nights before the game.2. Do people think this was the only time Williams partied during the season? No partying when here performed well?

If I were them I wouldn't be happy either and what the TBT printed today was sensationalized.

Haha.......it's kinda simple isn't it?

Durango, just curious . . . you do realize that SR was right on this precise issue, correct? If not, do you at least understand that Englehard offered an "I am unaware" response for a reason? Are you aware that PR invited the guy to clarify and he never did? That would be malpractice almost if PR was wrong . . .lolIf your issue is with the manner by which the information came out, that's fine, BUT at this point you are voicing your displeasure, I think, over the CORRECT information coming out . . right?

The Times article coupled with the PR article expose a serious issue with MW19. This isn't made up, and simply can't be written off as media nonsense.
