We're giving up a 71% completion percentage through 7 games. This is outrageous. Watching in the Falcons game, it was maddening to see how often we let the tight end and slot receiver run free off the line of scrimmage. This after a PR article saying that you have to jam the dart and slant route. If I could follow what we were trying to do on defense, I could at least understand how and why we are giving up what we are giving up, but I don't. Seems like we don't do a lot of man, and rotate between going between one and two safeties deep. However, it seems that every week we have receivers running wide open in our secondary. I know there have been articles about the Mike linebacker not getting deep enough. Well what are our outside linebackers doing? Why are safeties biting on a short pump fake when he HAS to hold the middle of the endzone.Serious question: what is the strategy. We may getting beat on quick routes, but doesn't that also mean that we wouldn't have to cover for very long?
