I am enamored with Lovie's staff. If we draft Manziel.... oh boy, I honestly can't think of a time since the two years we brought in Brad and Gruden where I've been this excited.
Manziel has some amazing talent and is pretty fun to watch, but he stands a strong chance of flaming out in the NFL due to his love of partying and immaturity. I think Tampa would be a terrible spot for him to land. Way too many temptations. You wouldn't be able to keep him out of the strip clubs long enough to read his playbook.
Everything is just magnified because of the era we live in with facebook and twitter. He parties no more than guys from the older generations. He has no drug issues and he is a baller on the field. I don't care what his personality is like.Sapp was the biggest jacka$$ we ever had and the greatest Buc player we ever had. If you want to not select Johnny Football because his skills arent up to par, fine, but quit judging the kid on what you read on TMZ about his personality.

I've seen multiple sources say that Tedford's offense is very complicated and takes a high football IQ. Not sure Manziel has shown the type of personal discipline it would take to learn and run it. He is at his best when running around and just throwing the ball up for his receivers to try to make the play. Running a disciplined offense may not work with him.

Running around making sandlot type plays works very well college at times...but in the NFL...not so much. I may be wrong, but I think Tedford will want a more 'normal' style QB...a drop back passer, if you will.I actually like Bortles (UCF) better than Manziel...just my $.02
