What would it take to get Peppers on one side with Allen on the other. Allen has already stated his frustration with not being in a position to win a SB and Peppers has come close twice. With Allen's ties to Frazier and Peppers ties to Lovie, does it seem plausible that they would take less money to play in TB. A dream team DL like that with a revamped offense and some added offensive playmakers would make us instant SB contenders. As much as like revis, his money could go to this but I don't see this happening as we don't have a sensible replacement and need to find some more DBs.

You never know, they may pull a Lebron and take less money. Also, their sack totals are lower for them so they can't dictate more money because their play isn't technically deserving. Odds are against this scenario happening, but it would be unreal and we would be the talk of the NFL.
