Green Bay traded 2 first round picks and DT Kenny Clark for Micah Parsons.
Wow. Dallas seems to be imploding - but it’s likely crazy Jerrie going into the deep vault of wizardry. Probably All-In 2025 version?
Green Bay is going to be a tough out now. The NFC while wide open it still is going to be a tough battle.
Micah is a really good player, but he’s not nearly as good as the lore behind him. I wouldn’t have give two first round picks for him. Packers see a window, so now it’s really on in the NFC North. Both the Packers and the Vikings will finish in front of the Lions. The Lions window is completely closed.
Holy hell
Damn. Would've been nice to get parsons. this trade firmly puts GB in the SB contender conversation with PHI. And lookit, he'll definitely be game-ready by the time they play DAL in Week 4.
Yeah, it definitely makes them contenders, but I’m not so sure Super Bowl is where they end up. A lot of teams are now in the “good” range in the NFCDamn. Oh, I'm not crowning them yet. Just saying, if Parsons has a similar effect on GB's defense as he had for DAL, they're going to be the team to beat in the NFC-N and maybe the best overall NFC team to knock off PHI. Assuming Parsons gets 100% healthy from whatever back issue he has and whether GB-DC actually uses him properly (which I don't see as much of a problem). I mean, Love still has toprove that he's at least 80%=90% of what most people seem to think he is, but if he can do that, GB is going to be a seriously tough out.
"how bout dem Cowboys!"
Gotta put the Packers at the top of the NFC contenders with Philly and Detroit. Tampa not far behind, but the Pack just leapfrogged us.
