I know a lot of people aren't sold on Vaughn and maybe Winfield/Tyler Johnson.
Think of it this way though..
How many casual NFL fans know about Lavonte David or Ali Marpet? Even Mike Evans gets underrated all the time when the best WR in football discussions come up.
Why is that? Because we have been a poor team for their entire careers. People don't pay attention to 'irrelevant' teams like Minnesota and Vanderbilt. They pay attention to teams like Alabama and Georgia which is why their players get the spotlight during draft build up.
There are casual fans out there who could have their teams trade for Chris Godwin tomorrow and they would say 'who is this Godwin fella? I hope we didn't give up more than a 5th rounder for him'.
Point is, if you are casual enough a fan that you don't study film and watch big 12 games just for the hell of it, you should probably reserve judgement and just see what these guys can do.
If you are a hardcore Vandy fan and have articulate comments and concerns about Vaughn, please share. But don't trash our picks because you read some scouting report on football for douchebags dot com that said the guy has a low ceiling.
