The Fowl is a liability in any alignment.
Sign him and run a base 4-2-5!
Exactly what I was thinking. This passing league may make that the norm
Problem is that you are still rolling 2 CB's out there and as much as I like Byrd I don't want him manned up on a slot WR. That 3 S set says we are in a zone only.
Not necessarily. Roll Barron down to LB next to David. 3 CB's with Byrd playing center field and Goldson as a roving hammer/yellow flag.
So really a heavy nickle, still want to get Goldosn out of that alignment but that is my bias that I want him out of ANY alignment.
Yea, pretty much. Im in the same boat that if we could somehow swap out Goldson for Byrd that would be an incredible move...but I think most of us understand the reality there. Peter King should know better.

The hit isn't that bad. I think Booker said that it is a net 0 effect on the cap to cut him so in a world where we have $30m in cap room we can afford both. Then, going forward it is also fairly cap neutral because you are swapping out Goldson's deal for Byrd's deal.

I dont understand how he got a net 0 on the cap affect of cutting him. He has $9M contract fully guaranteed this year, and $3M of next years. If we were to cut him that would get accelerated to a $12M cap hit this year for not having him on the team. I could see a trade if we paid some of this year's salary in a restructure.
