RB in the 1st round?
no, No, NO.
Waiting until pick 181 for an offensive tackle?
yeah dont like drafting an RB.
i am all in on Broderick Jones OT Georgia for first round pick and cutting Don Smith. i think we have to go OT in first round.
i am ok with CB assuming we are letting Dean walk but not if we re-sign him.
drafting two edge rushers? we already swung and missed on JTR and what does this mean for Shaq? are we cutting him?
Rachaad White is going to be really good here in this new running style scheme. No need to waste a pick on one in the first round. I'm fine with LT, OLB, or DT first round; every other position can be had later.

As we can see a lot can happen and probably will that affects team needs. Tackle just became a bigger need, unless "Roll with Goedeke" for right tackle can't really be the strategy. Relying on Goedeke didn't go well the first time, and "Fool me once...." I hope Goedeke can become a good player, but I don't think relying on him to become the next starting RT is very smart and I don't think the Bucs will do that. IMO they will use a high draft pick to beef up that position.
If we draft a rb first round we will be so bad for the next 5 years.
They don't work out, no matter how blue chip they may look.
Build it inside out. Oline and dline.
3rd rounder go MLB or CB or Hooker.
Late picks go secondary or RB.
Genuinely asking, isnt part of the problem with Goedeke that we put him at G? wasnt he a TE/Tackle in college?

Yes, he played RT at Central Michigan. I believe he made All-American one year...

Goedeke’s natural position is tackle and it was his only good showing last season.
And, the rumor mill is already picking up that the plan is to move TW to LT.
and it was his only good showing last season.
I don't recall the game but that was my recollection and why I asked
i tried this and got:
19th - OT Peter Skoronski, Northwestern
50th - LB Drew Sanders, Arkansas
82nd - DT Calijah Kancey, Pittsburgh
155 - S Rashad Torrenance II, Florida
175 - RB Eric Gray, Oklahoma
181 - CB Rejzohn Wright, Oregon State
196 - TE Payne Durham, Purdue
232 - EDGE Yaya Diaby, Louisville
253 - WR Michael Jefferson, Louisiana
Notes:
19th - Preferred Broderick Jones but he doesnt seem to be falling to 19th. With Donovan Smith cut, OT is a significant need and if we are to get our QB of the future either via Trask or top pick next year, we need to not pull a Jets and actually build up the team around him - ala Chiefs, Ravens, Eagles style.
50th - This gives us the flexibility to move White to edge and also if they dont bring back David, this becomes a starter immediately. Shaq, David, Sanders, White not a bad starting line up with bust JTR mixing in on the edge.
82nd - It's likely they move on from Hicks and Gholsten so need some bodies upfront and this could become a starter immediately or at the very least part of a rotation with Vea, Hall penciled in as starters.
155 - depth pick
175 - depth pick but given the RB room could compete with Vaughn for the #2 spot behind White
181 - depth pick but with SMB and Dean as free agents, at least one of them is gone. Not sure they will dish out $20M for Dean so at the very least a depth pick
196 - in this soft tank year, unlikely we sign a vet TE so Durham will compete with Kief for tight end snaps
232 - depth on edge, new blood
253 - depth at WR.
feel like this fills 9 roster spots in a cap tight year. thoughts?

I like Forbes but he weighed in at 166 pounds at the combine. Guys going get punked trying press cover
If he is truly 166 then that’s definitely a negative. I was going off the 180 pounds ESPN has him listed at. That being said get that man a cheeseburger and in an nfl strength program and he could be 180-185 by the end of his rookie year.
