Exactly. The dogs think I don't particularly like, but he paid his debt to society. I'm more interested in guys who can help us win and Vick isn't someone who can do that.

On part one I agree he did pay a price but I still wouldnt want him on the team I love and partly for that reason.. The other bolded text is even moreso the reason...

The Bucs have built some excitement with the hiring of Smith and the new helmet and uniform changes, they won't risk that for Vick. I look for McCown, Cassell or Schaub. He wasn't good this year but he is a guy who produced 5 years of 90+ QBR prior to this year. That level of play should be good enough to win with.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Texans get Schaub to restructure and let him compete. New regime might be willing to give him another chance at a smaller cap hit. He was horrible last year but pretty solid for many years prior to that. If he restructures, he could at least be a good place holder for them while they develop a 2nd round QB.
