He wasn't good this year but he is a guy who produced 5 years of 90+ QBR prior to this year. That level of play should be good enough to win with.

Won a lot of games prior to last season. He's not great but if you are looking at the available FA guys he's the cream of a (weak) crop.

2012 he was better behind than ahead, he was much better tied than ahead. His pass rating when behind by less than 7 was better than being ahead. As bad as this year was he was worse when ahead than behind or tied. You can say front runner but the data doesn't bear that out.

I didn't think a need was necessito for Matt Schibby to give up six points?Yeah. That was last year. He was in a rotten funk last season. And I am no fan. But he has had some decent seasons as well. More good than bad. Vick sucks. He is wild with his throws, refuses to listen to coaches, and not worth the trouble. Just garbage. Puuuuuke!

Out of all those dudes, Schaub is clearly the best option, IMO. McCown? C'mon man. Spare me. Vick? He is a turd. Awful QB. Schaub? Meh. Better than Orlovsky.

Matt Schaub is clearly the answer at quarterback (of what will be our options in FA and the draft). He had a bad year last year but put up good numbers the five years prior. He is only 32, which is not ancient in quarterback years. We could probably get 4-5 good years out of him. I think with a pass rusher, a slot WR, and a TE this team can make a run with him at the helm.
Schaub melted down worse than Chernobyl last year. Better interview him with a sports psychologist before you make that move.
I will not support Michael Vick.
