Phil, the director of the senior bowl, was on Cowherd today. He said they all but begged Mariota to come to the Senior Bowl and he declined. He said they basically dug a tunnel to get to Mariota and could not get within 6 feet of him. His thought was if Mariota wanted to alleviate concerns over his ability to pocket pass, he could attend the Senior Bowl and do just that. It sounds like they may a real concerted effort to get him to attend, spanning over several months. I wonder what he is hiding?
