Skule - this is the best option at RT? Dude is lost.
Mauch - not a good player. Bench him and start Hainsey.
Camarda - cut him. Shanks half of his punts.
KJ Britt - not the guy. We have so little talent at LB I'm not even sure what to do. Dennis at MLB?
Otton - I just don't see any upside. His stat line wasn't bad but he's weak. He's actually been better at blocking this year but sadly that still isn't good. Would like to see his snaps diminished.
White - I'm not sure what to make of him because Baker missed him in the flat a few times and he had a TD that should have counted. But Bucky and the eye ball test. It's not really close. Make it 50/50 despite my FF team
There will be no changes, mark my words. It is what it is.
skule should of been left in Detroit. Instead these coaches start him again. He’s not an NFL tackle
The Bucs are only a LG, RG and RT away from having a great offensive line.

Will there be and should there be are two different things.
as evidenced by Baker getting sacked 7x in this game. The Bucs are only a LG, RG and RT away from having a great offensive line.
Absorbed 5 sacks last week in Detroit.
I don’t know long Baker can stay upright facing that kind of pressure.
Hopefully we get Goedeke Mack and slow the attack, and maybe acheme up a run game, early, using Bucky Irving.
opposing defenses have learned our running attack is not real and they’re pinning their ears back and keying on Baker.
Coen also called zero screens vs the pressure and minimal slants.
He's been bad the last 2 weeks
Not exactly easy to make drastic changes in week 3-4, sadly.
awj vea kancey and goedeke all healthy will make a big difference.
You know what’s funny about threads like this… when Baker has all day and his first read is open it’s Baker Baker Baker Baker. When he has to go through progressions quickly and put the team on his back it’s everyone else’s fault
In the preseason I said the ILB was the weak spot of the team. Of course the O-line is earning that claim so far, but ILB still looms on the horizon as a weak spot. I wasn't calling KJ Britt a loser, nor was I calling David washed up. Neither is true. I just thought the Bucs had a little too much faith that those two would be able to hold down the fort there as permanent starters for 17 games. Here we are through Game 3 and already Britt may be turning out to be a weak spot. And it's just a long season to expect that the veteran David can be going full speed the whole time. Dennis is good against the pass, but is he a three down player?
I said in the Shepard thread that Baker was at fault for not being able to find other receivers. There were exactly two targets of WRs not named Godwin and Evans. Shepard was brought up to the active roster to keep the bench warm. They threw 8 passes to Otton. What happened to spreading the ball around? Are McMillan and Palmer just not getting open, or is Baker just not looking for them? Or is this on the OC? I really don't know. But two targets? Come on. If you want Evans to get open, then you have to start utilizing the other guys and keep the defense honest. You know what’s funny about threads like this… when Baker has all day and his first read is open it’s Baker Baker Baker Baker. He was definitely shafted on the TD, but fortunately, we were able to score anyways.
There's no question that Bucky's footwork (especially in tight spaces) is far superior to Rachaad's.
Just like there's no question that White is better in pass pro and superior as a pass catcher.
All that being said, nearly all of Bucky's production has come out of Pony, with manufactured stuff like reverses, misdirections, etc.
To my knowledge, Rachaad hasn't received anything like it. Without those gimmicky plays, Bucky hasn't done much better than White.
Until they finally yank Mauch's sorry ass and Coen stops being predictable with his run calls; I don't think it really matters who's back there.
No doubt. Decision making breaks down under a 7 sack game.as evidenced by Baker getting sacked 7x in this game.
Absorbed 5 sacks last week in Detroit.
And a number of those were on Baker.
I get that you refuse to place even a single iota of blame on him, but he played like shit.
Baker surely made some bad decisions, but the reason for the problem wasn’t Baker. The fact is that the line just really sucked. Unlike the 5x he was sacked in Detroit, and the 1 sack he took against the football team, this time the line play was so bad that there were no exit lanes, no way to get outside to extend the play.
You know, it’s kinda like how you excuse White for not hitting holes that aren’t there…except Baker usually finds a way out, White only seems to show up in the passing game.
Thats ok though, it sounds like they’re going to Bucky, earlier in the game, maybe that will supply just enough consideration by opposing defenses, that maybe Baker will get a few more ticks.
But you’re technically accurate. Baker did make a couple of quizzical mistakes.
