Once the new regime is put in place there will be a high amount of roster turnover. Eventually, players will be traded away while others will be cut. We have a good core of players on our squad and I would like to think that many of those players would be allowed to compete for a starting job next summer, but the rest of Schiano's crew will likely be ousted from One Buc.Below are some players who, I think, could be on the trade block once the new guys get situated. Carl NicksDavin Joseph Donald PennDarrelle Revis (its interesting to note that we do not lose our 3rd round draft pick unless Revis is still on our roster after the 2nd day of the 2014 league year)Dashon GoldsonVincent JacksonMike WilliamsDoug MartinWhat do you guys think we could get for these players?
We would have to pay someone to take Nicks. The only tradeable players on that list are the ones we probably shouldn't trade.
Every lineman but Dotson should be on the block.
Carl Nicks- If he is healthy he is backDavin Joseph - probably gone but not a big lossDonald Penn- probably gone but not a big lossDarrelle Revis- stayingDashon Goldson- staying, no cap benefit plus he is a vocal leaderVincent Jackson- staying to big in the communityMike Williams- staying great number 2Doug Martin- staying pro bowler and good guy
We shouldn't trade any of those players
Carl Nicks - how long is the line to trade for a bloated contract on a guy who might not be able to play again?Davin Joseph - nobody is trading for himDonald Penn - maybe a 6th if we are luckyDarrelle Revis - GTFOH with thisDashon Goldson - if we ate a lot of his contract we could probably get a 2nd/3rd, not worth itVincent Jackson - could probably get a 2nd, but his value to a young QB outweighs that draft pickMike Williams - I dont see anyone lining up to trade for a WR coming off injuryDoug Martin - has some trade value, but would be a poor PR move for the fan base
Of that list I could see Davin and Nicks not here anymore.

Agree, but not b/c of trades.

Wow, overreaction. While I think he is a supreme talent, the Bucs trading away Revis is not as far fetched as some of you might think. I could be wrong, lets say the Bucs hire a GM that sees Revis' mega-contract as a negative influence on the future of the franchise? What if the new GM is aiming to stockpile draft picks and build for the future? What if he has an opportunity to trade Revis for a young, franchise QB? All hypotheticals but very reasonable scenarios.
We're not trading Jackson, Revis, Williams or Martin.Come the fuck on.I thought Agent Orange on the other board was crazy.
You don't even know who the new GM is going to be yet you can tell me what moves he will or will not make? Kneeslapper.
You want to trade our 3 best offensive players, williams, martin and Vjax. What logic exactly are you using here?

Logic? At this place?HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Makes absolutely no sense why anyone would want to trade Martin, Williams or V-Jax. I could understand Revis, but I wouldn't be happy with it unless we got a crazy deal.
If this is about cap space, we are about 10M under next years cap and can roll over another 7M from this year giving us about 17M. If we part ways with Joseph, Penn and Nicks, I think that amounts to about $20M more as well (although I don't think we'll do that - total $37M). The short answer to this is that we don't *have* to trade anyone and I doubt that we will trade the few offensive playmakers we have to some draft choices that would be less likely to play as well as the players we traded. While I do think we are likely to part ways with Nicks unless he shows that he can get healthy for next season, I think we will probably keep everyone else (although Penn and Joseph could be asked to take pay cuts). Whoever the next coach is, he'll be wanting to make a quick turn around and he's going to not only want good veteran players, he's going to want more of them.JMO.
