Broncos, Seahawks Players Receive $25,000 Diamond-Encrusted Headphones by Trevor Cullen Mon, Jan 27, 2014 at 10:16PM Playing in the NFL certainly has its fair share of perks, and for the players participating in this year’s Super Bowl, the rewards will definitely sound a little bit sweeter.Beats By Dre and Graff Diamonds have combined to create a pair of diamond-encrusted headphones for each member of the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks, according to Darren Rovell. The headphones come in their own individual cases, and are valued at $25,000 each. The new gear is a welcome gift, especially to those players who aren’t major stars with multi-million dollar deals. Take, for example, Seahawks’ rookie Michael Bowie, who tweeted a picture of the opulent headphones.

All they did was take the normal Pro headphones and add a silver plate with 2 diamonds on both sides plus a custom case. Those 4 diamonds must be worth $6,000 each to get the value to $25,000.
25k paper weight. Those headphones are trash

I wouldn't use them over my Bose's that's for sure.
I don't get why so many people think these are good headphones. They're really not.

I guess they aren't silver after all. I found a new article that says Broncos got white gold and Hawks got yellow gold.
What people find as cool and a value in society today baffles me. There is so much good that could be done with $25,000. Everything has to be blinged out and look gauty. Oh well, to each there own I guess. I imagine there are people in the jersey area still recovering/rebuilding from the hurricane (forgetting name) that would love the $25,000.

Yea I could use that to paint my house!
Dre, or his con_pany, could have done much greater things with that money. It's a marketing ploy, that's all.

Both things I can understand, and I guess most people don't understand what they are trying to listen to.....no, forget that, most people know what they want to hear and the Beats cater to that and make ALOT of money of consumer stupidity, but I stand by my point of them being terrible headphones. I say that as an artist who has somewhat of a clue, albeit not always the best one.
