Bowles' fate should be sealed absent something crazy because now the Bucs have actually gone backwards by not even controlling their own destiny. But, you still want the Bucs to do well because doing well is important for the players, especially the young players (Morrison, Parrish etc), who will continue on no matter what happens to Bowles. It seems more likely their season ends on a terrible note, but that is the underlying thought vis a vis the TEAM.

I think the Bucs were always in control of their playoff fate in 2023 and 2024. I recall prior Bowles seasons came down to the wire, but at least they controlled their fate? If that is correct then the Bucs are inescapably declining now under Bowles. That gives the owner another lever to pull.

listen, i will always root for a Bucs win. Unless it's like a 2-14 season and we have a generational #1 Peyton Manning like QB coming out in the draft and kicking a field goal to win the game gets us a long snapper with the second pick. Yes - in that scenario, give me a Bucs Loss
but in this scenario, sure, i want to see Bucs in playoffs. I just dont see how they win another game how this locker room and coaching staff currently is. Hard to really be excited for Saturday as you could almost guarantee a lost.

I'm a Bucs fan. I can't watch the games without being emotionally invested in how they play. I drive my wife so crazy she has to leave the room because I get so worked up. The poor dog hides in any room besides the living room where I watch. I've been a season ticket holder who one Bills fan said should be put on a suicide watch because of a 27-3 second half collapse vs the Bills. That said...
I hope the Panthers put the Bucs out of their misery on Saturday. This Bucs team doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs after one of the worse collapses in NFL history. A loss SHOULD be the final nail in the coffin for the entire Bucs coaching staff. How can anyone defend such an EPIC ending to a season that began with so much promise. This team and how they have performed since the bye week is an embarrassment to its fans. 1-7 record after the bye week. The lone squeaker 20-17 win vs the 3-13 Cardinals.
